Enerparc AG has entered preliminary insolvency proceedings in Germany. The filing covers the parent company only; subsidiaries are not named in the proceedings at this stage, per pv magazine.
The timing is notable. Enerparc secured a €1 billion financing package earlier in 2026 to grow its solar and battery portfolio. The insolvency filing raises immediate questions for counterparties on offtake agreements and construction pipelines tied to the group.
Separately, Italy's solar buildout continued at pace. The Italian zone added 2.61 GW of PV in H1 2026 out of 2.9 GW of total renewable additions, per pv magazine. Cumulative Italian PV capacity stood at approximately 46.8 GW at the end of June.
