Germany clears 2.1 GW in ground-mounted solar tender at €0.0479/kWh average

Germany's Bundesnetzagentur cleared 2.135 GW of ground-mounted solar in its July tender, awarding 261 bids at an average price of €0.0479/kWh. The lowest bid came in at €0.043/kWh. The auction was oversubscribed, confirming continued strong developer appetite for utility-scale PV capacity in the German zone.

Bavaria received the largest share of the allocated volume, though a per-state breakdown was not published at the time of writing. The oversubscription signals that pipeline well exceeds available tender volume at current award levels, which is consistent with the downward pressure on average clearing prices seen across recent German solar rounds.
