Germany has closed its latest tender for innovative renewable projects, awarding 482 MW at prices between €0.0475/kWh and €0.0559/kWh, with an average of €0.0534/kWh, per pv magazine. The tender targets hybrid and co-located configurations (solar-plus-storage being the dominant category) rather than standalone generation assets.

The price band is tighter than some earlier German tender rounds and lands above the wholesale baseload curve, reflecting the additional cost of storage integration. At the top end, €0.0559/kWh represents the ceiling the German regulator was willing to support for this technology class in this round.

For context, Longi separately reported an LCOE of roughly €0.0413–€0.045/kWh for its containerised PV stations deployed in European off-grid markets such as Poland and Ukraine. That figure is not directly comparable to a German grid-connected support price, but it illustrates the compression still working through the solar equipment stack even as tender clearing prices hold in the mid-five-cent range.
