Bundesnetzagentur (BNetzA) published its May 2026 auction results on 9 June, describing a high level of competition across both the standard onshore wind and innovation tender rounds. The agency did not release full volume and strike-price data in its headline statement; detailed clearing results are expected in a follow-on notice. Germany has repeatedly seen oversubscription in onshore tenders since 2024 as permitting backlogs eased.
On the supply-chain side, Nordex confirmed it has started manufacturing turbine units for the 392 MW Pestera 2 project, per Renews.biz. Site preparation is running in parallel. Also on 26 June, Dajin dispatched the final monopiles for Orsted's 2.9 GW Hornsea 3 array aboard the King One vessel, completing that fabrication programme ahead of offshore installation.
In the UK, the AR7 Contract for Difference auction closed as a record round for offshore wind capacity, with RWE emerging as the largest single winner, according to Recharge News. Strike prices and zonal breakdown were not included in the headlines available.
