Hornsea 3 tower deliveries begin at Able Seaton port

Tower section deliveries for Hornsea 3 have commenced at Able Seaton port on the UK's north-east coast. Elsewhere in the UK offshore supply chain, VOS has won a charter contract worth more than £7 million with ScottishPower Renewables. The contract covers support across the East Anglia 2 and 3 projects, per Renews.biz.

In Ireland, GE is preparing to file permit paperwork for the decommissioning of the 25 MW Arklow 1 project. Arklow 1 is Ireland's only offshore wind farm. Its removal would close a chapter on first-generation Irish offshore wind while Ireland works to bring a new pipeline of larger projects through permitting.
