Turbine components for the Inch Cape offshore wind project have landed in Dundee, with installation planned to start in November, according to Renews.biz. The delivery marks the transition from procurement to active build-out for the project off the Scottish east coast.

Elsewhere, Moldova concluded a tender selecting winners totalling 170 MW of onshore wind capacity. All seven awarded projects carry a mandatory battery energy storage system requirement, a condition that will shape the financing and design of each site.

In the supply chain, Tekmar announced a €1 m contract win covering concrete cable protection for an offshore wind project, its first order in that product category. The deal deepens an existing customer relationship, per Renews.biz. Separately, Futureal entered a partnership with Aurinkokarhu covering approximately 3 GW of mid-stage renewable projects in Finland, though the wind-specific split of that pipeline was not disclosed.
