Nordex reported 3.1GW of turbine orders in Q2 2026, with Germany, the US, and Türkiye driving the bulk of demand, according to Renews.biz. The figure marks a substantial intake for a single quarter and reinforces Germany's position as one of the most active onshore wind procurement markets in Europe right now.
The Q2 result comes alongside fresh tender activity in Germany. Eurowind secured 70MW across three projects in the country's latest onshore wind award round, with all three moving directly into construction, a signal that awarded capacity is translating into build-out rather than stalling at the permit stage.
Elsewhere in the European wind space, TRIG signed a divestment deal for its stake in the Beatrice offshore wind farm, advancing the fund's £400m capital realisation target. In Finland, the Honkakangas wind farm reached first generation ahead of schedule. Neither Beatrice nor Honkakangas pricing or capacity figures were disclosed in available summaries.
