Nordex reported Q2 EBITDA of €224m, more than doubling year-on-year, per Renews.biz. The result points to sustained margin improvement at the turbine manufacturer as European order books remain full and supply chain pressures ease relative to 2023–2024 levels.

On the operations side, ScottishPower awarded £103m of O&M contracts to four British companies, covering 24 onshore wind farms. The deal scale reflects the growing maintenance workload as the UK onshore fleet ages. Separately, the EIB provided green loan backing for the 40MW Labraza wind farm in Spain's Basque zone, while TagEnergy won appeal consent for the 21.5MW Cairnmore Hill project in the Scottish Highlands, adding to a steady flow of smaller onshore approvals across the British Isles.

Equinor's floating wind pioneer also returned to focus after Siemens Gamesa turbine faults had constrained output, with Recharge News reporting the asset is bouncing back (though no revised availability figures were published).
