Perigus has brought its 81 MW Garreenleen solar farm in County Carlow to full operation, per Renews.biz. The project is the developer's first operational solar asset in Ireland and adds utility-scale capacity to the Irish market.
UK developer PACE secured planning consent for the 40 MW Lassington solar project in Gloucestershire. The scheme pairs generation with battery storage and retains agricultural activity on site, a co-location model increasingly used to satisfy planning authorities in England. Lassington now moves toward construction, though no commissioning date was reported.
