Valorem and Google sign 10-year Finnish wind PPA

Valorem and Google have announced a 10-year power purchase agreement tied to the 97.3 MW Matkussaari onshore wind farm in Finland, per Renews.biz. The contract structure is a long-duration corporate PPA, giving Google a fixed offtake channel and Valorem revenue certainty over the decade.

The Finnish zone has attracted steady corporate PPA interest as its wind resource and grid infrastructure suit large-scale offtake structures. At 97.3 MW, Matkussaari sits at the upper end of single-site corporate deals in the Nordics. No price terms were disclosed.
