Vestas EnVentus platform crosses 15 GW installed milestone
The turbine line now has more than 24 GW in firm orders, underlining its position as Vestas's core onshore product.

Vestas announced that its EnVentus turbine platform has reached 15 GW of installed capacity globally. The firm-order backlog for the platform stands at more than 24 GW, according to Renews.biz, meaning the installed base will more than double before existing contracts are fulfilled.
The EnVentus line is Vestas's primary onshore platform and covers multiple power classes.
Separately, Eurowind Energy completed the acquisition of two onshore wind farms in the German zone. Financial terms were not disclosed. Renews.biz noted the developer cited a "challenging market environment". The two transactions together reflect continued secondary-market activity even as greenfield development timelines lengthen.
